Hello all,

Firstly I apologise I bet a similar question has been posted 100s of times!

I am not new as such to the fish keeping world am studying animal management but its my first "big" tank :)

It is a B Style tank 100L/22gallons.

I have no idea other then angel fish of what else would be compatible and how many of each? Also suckers and loaches which is best?
Any help would be fantastic

Thank you

Anita

Welcome to TFF Anita :hi:

As it happens, angels are unusually tall fish that need rather tall tanks, often too tall for a typical 20g. Now it could be that your 22 has unusual dimensions so I'd post those up for the members to see. Usually 17" or 18" of height minimum is recommended for angels.

Stocking is a very personal thing and one good way to handle the process is to make little trips (assuming its convenient) to your local shops and jot down notes on what you see and like. Then post up your ideas here for discussion.

Since we recommend Fishless Cycling for almost any new tanks, and that takes often from 1 to 3 months, there is usually plenty of time (and its often needed!) for detailed discussion of your stocking plan.

By the way, what's a "B" Style tank? :)

Hi there,

Ok the dimensions are: 20" wide 22" height. It is an usual shape tank sort of curves in then out in the shape of a "B" thats only what it means by b style tank hehe.

Yes I see what you mean so i shall have a few trips down the aquatic centre and get as much information I can.

Thank you!
