I've read so many topics asking for suggestions about certain ways to stock tanks. I'm wondering if it would be nice to have a topic dedicated to various tank stocking suggestions (i.e. -colorful small tank, semi-aggressive medium tank, large tank of schooling fish, etc). Maybe it would give some beginners (and even experiences fish keepers) ideas of tank space and fish compatibility. Since small, medium, and large are pretty biased terms, probable give exact tank size (ie-55 gallon semi-aggressive tank). Just a thought... :)

The problem lies in what do you consider large medium and small? ; ) Suppose you could go on averages.

It would be a helpful guide though. Maybe people could write about their own tanks, equipment, and stock level along with a picture to show what is acceptable for a tank of that size with such and such filter.

Yeah, that's why I thought we should probably put exact tank sizes when we give suggestions. ;-)

It seems people want either color, personality, or fish that are "easy" to take care of. It could get really particular, as well, as some people want colorful fish that are "easy", and that are peaceful fish. I know I've also read topics (I started a few of them myself) about what cichlids or oddballs could go in with community fish.

Like consp said, it would be easiest if we described our own tanks with pics. And if there are certain set "rules" for a particular set up (i.e. - tiger barbs in with community fish, the tank needs to be certain size, and the barbs need to be in a group of atleast 6), then you should include those as well.
