I have an 84 litre Fluval Duo aquarium with
3 red eye tetras
2 red wag platies
3 random platies

So basically what can I/cant I add??

Thanks in advance

As a good rule of thumb for small fish you can add 2 inches per gallon(UK). So in your tank you could have possible eventual maximum of 33 inches of fish, taking into account decor. You just have to remember to add you fish slowly and that this is for their adult size. You have about 16.5inches of fish in there at the moment, when they're fully grown, so you have about the same to play with. You could have a small shoal of Otocinclus, commonly called Oto's, these grow to about 2inches and do best in a shoal of 6, they will also eat all the algae from your tank. To feed them use algae wafers and blanced green vegtables. This leaves about 4.5 inches, which depending on your water hardness, you could add a pair of a small apisto cichlids.
