Stocking Help?

A Honey wouldn't bother anyone else at all I don't think. A male Dwarf might nip a bit if it were his particular personality (or not, just as likely.) After these two, you get in to the larger gouramis, so they'd be out based on size, but just to mention, among those larger ones the Pearls would be less likely to be aggressive than the others in my opinion (the blue, opaline(green), gold, 3-spot type usually being the most aggressive in my experience.. more suited for being themselves among the smaller fish in a huge tank that has bigger fish.) It's been quite a while since I've actively raised gouramis, so KK and others should feel free to add to my comments. WD
 
You can put Corys in gravel. Yes, sand is optimal but it is just that, OPTIMAL. I have 6 Corys and they have a great time, even in my gravel substrate :-
