Hey everyone! S I've got my ten gallon tank, pretty well planted...I have one half grown balloon Molly, 4 amano shrimp, 3 Pygmy cories..(that's what's left after a round of an unknown parasite) ...I think I might be able to take a trip into the city tonight and visit a 17000 square foot aquarium store...and this tank has been so empty for a few months now...it's starting to get depressing...I wanted to try to restock it again, but I have to get them from this place because my lfs is the one that has been supplying me with all the lovely parasites...

So, I wanted some stocking suggestions! I know I'm very limited in species and numbers, so that's why I came here :D

Thanks all, so much!
Meg

Get 2 more Balloon mollies, to form a school, and 3 more pygmy cories, they need schools of sixor more, and then you can get some nice glowlight tetras. They are the best!

I know, I had 6 cories but three of them died with the unknown parasite...I would have gotten more but my lfs doesn't have them and the only place I've found that does is over an hour away and I haven't been able to get there yet...

As for the balloon mollies, I really love them, but I've had such bad experiences (short lives and such...maybe that's just because of the parasites and bad fish my lfs' give me, maybe not) and that's all I've been keeping for a few years now besides bettas...and I really am not all for bringing my balloon Molly to a store as she was born in my tank)... So if getting more balloon mollies is what I should do, I will :) but if it's possible I would like to try something new? Idk...I do love livebearers though... :D

Thank you so much for your quick reply!
Meg

Edit: This is my tank if it makes a difference to what I can keep

And the small molly (hasn't grown in forever...thinking she's the runt of the batch) not even sure she's a full inch from tip to tail

Someone at my lfs said something about a certain kind of platy? Not sure because...well...it's my lfs telling me this...just wanted to ask!
