Stocking Help Please

i have got the bug and after shuffling furniture around we have found space for a 4 foot tank so i am getting a fluval roma 240
i will be transfering my current stock from my other tank which includes-
4 x blue rams
3 x platys
1 x polkadot loach
2 x orange laser corys
1 x sterbai cory
1 x bandit cory
1 x dwarf gourami
2 x buenos aries tetra
2 x amano shrimp
20 x cherry shrimp

i have found a new home for the tetra as they are a bit nippy and dont really want any more of them so they are going to a friends tank before the new tank is cycled...
my current fish are relatively small fish and i would like a bigger center piece fish or a pair, any suggestions?
i also intend to add more corys, maybe another 6 or so, and a few more platys of different colours.
i would also like to add a schoal of some kind, possibly tetra (but not nippy ones like the b/a tetras i already have.....)
i have seen a spotted climbing perch at the lfs and love it but is this compatable?
open to suggestions.............

i would get a couple more corys but then i think you will have to many bottom dwellers

Why not add 3-6 kutubu lake and/or goyder river rainbow fish as your shoaling fish. They could even be the centrepiece.

just googled the rainbow fish and im liking them a schoal of 6 different colours would look sweet, ill bear it in mind. thanks.

I like the goyders and kutubus most. Try to stick to only a few species.
