Hello all,

I am soon gonna be building my own 85 gallon tank. It is specifically to house my 2 Clown Loach and Silver Shark.
I would really love some cichlids in there too.

If this would be possible are there any I need to avoid?

TIA

Are you looking for new world or old world cichlids? Do you have any ideas about what type of species or cichlid you would like to add to the tank? There are a lot of cichlids out there, so it would help us help you if you narrowed it down a bit.

Cheers
Tanks.

You would be better looking at NW cichlids based on your current stock. There are not really any African's compatible with Bala Sharks and CL's prefer soft acidic water which is the opposite to the hard alkaline conditions preferred by most African cichlids.

IMO Firemouth's and Blue Acara's would be a good combination with your existing fish. :good:
