i have 18 uk gal with 4 neons and 3 copper rasboras and 1 white cloud mountain minnow which is going to a friend. 8 plants, bogwood and orndament. 2 apple snails and a zebra which is going to the same friend. i want to get some guppys but not sure how many. so for example would 2 females and one male be ok or not?

1 male and 2 females is ok but you will of course then have continual breeding. Even though most fry will be eaten or sucked up the filter some will survive and then you will have inbreeding.

All male or all female may suit better :/

Yeah, I agree. If you don't want babies, get all males. Besides, males are prettier anyway. :D! So, you're saying you have a tank with no fish in it? You could go with at least 12 guppies. I'd go with more variety, though. A few guppies, maybe some cories and a platy or two. Livebearers are really great fish. :)
