Stocking For The New Tank Coming Along Nicely

on my way home from work today i stopped in at lfs and picked up 7 bosemani rainbows. stocking is currrently

the rainbows
pair of kribs
severum ( as seen in avatar!)
blue acara
pictus catfish
3 pearl gouramis
1 gibicep

may swap the gibi for a smaller plec not sure yet the tank is big enough but not sure if i want an 18 inch fish wrecking the joint just by swimming around they got a real nice green phantom plec im sooooooo tempted by if i remember rightly i think its L200 but dont quote me on that either way its a stonker that im finding harder to resist every day !

hey sounds great, im looking for some boesmani rainbows for my tank too or red irians, there great looking. sounds like your tank is stocked really nicely do you think you could take some pics? id like to see the new fish

thanks its making nice progress . will give the rainbows a day or 2 to settle in thenil get the camera out and try and get some good fish pics

yep nelly its a nice chilled out tank at the moment

also i just remembered im gonna be going for a slight re-scape over the weekend so will do new pics of tank and fish once everything settles back down

Looks good...you should get some Madagascar Rainbows. I love Rainbows!

my lfs has got bosemanis (although i bought most of them today ) lacutris(blue) and trifasciatus (red striped). may get some of each and finish my stocking off with a big old shoal of mixed rainbows

Now that you got some, it's spelleed Melanotaenia Boesemani.

oe ae ue are just a transliteration of ö ä ü from german.
like BÄNSCH/BAENSCH

enough of the lesson, i think bösemani and irian reds would go great together, opposites
