Stocking For A 10Gallon

I’m not 100% sure on the tank size (forgot to measure the height); however the tank will be at least 10 gallons.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what could go in it?

The tank is for my boyfriend and I think he had fancied a crab or a blue lobster but then I think the lobster is too big for the tank (base size is 18” by 10”).

I think he fancies something unusual.

You could do a school of sparkling gouramis and amano shrimp on a black gravel/sand with lots of green plants. Would look stunning.

I actually have lots of black aquarium gravel sitting in my garage actually lol.

Or if you want to do a 'stunning' tank. How about a species tank with coral red pencilfish?
Black background, black substrate, green plants and the red will really jump out at you.

Or... for something unusual, look into amphibians and such. How about some indian dwarf mud skippers?

Well it's not for me; it's my boyfriends "new" tank. But I was getting ideas as by the time he gets around to it it'll be years down the line. I think he had half thought about fire bellied toads as well.

I'll give him all the suggestions

Some freshwater bumblebee gobies?

Aquajardin had a tank of them, must have been no more than 1.5cm long, but I cannot recall the species name. However...

I'm spending part of my day off going back there today (this time armed with my mini cam, they've got loads of new interesting species in), as the shop staff and manager (bless 'em) were too polite to kick me out on Wednesday, when I thought they were open until 1800 when they actually closed at 1730!
