Stocking Check

Hey, i was just wanting to get people's opinion on my current stocking. my tank is a 55g long, sand substrate planted, with 2 pieces of driftwood and a fluval 305 filter.

stock at the moment is:

14x harlequin raspboras
12x cardinal tetras (3 of which are in the hospital tank recovering from mouth fungus)
5x pepper corydoras
8x khuli loach
2x long fin rams (not sure on the sexing)

+ several pond and ramshorn snails that came with the plants, and possibly some malaysian trumpet snails. I bought the malaysian snails to aerate the sand, but several of them just died (???) but as my fish seem healthy, i'm not sure what happened there... i may still have a few, but i'm not sure.

i also have a pearl gourami in my hospital tank, as it was swimming oddly after i brought it home. it seems to be doing better, but i will be waiting another week before i add it.

i plan on adding a farlowella cat as soon as my lfs gets one in as well.

please let me know what you think, as I'm afraid i may be a bit overstocked. I am doing weekly water changes, and am being very careful not to over-feed.

I think that you're probably on the limit, but maybe you should get another gourami so that the other one isn't by itself.

Looks to me that you are stocked just about right.

You can fit more into that if you wanted to, but you may need additional filtration and slightly larger weekly water changes.

i don't know if i'd want to add any more, as it looks quite busy already. maybe a few more corys would be good...
having only the one tank is frustrating! i can't wait until i'm living somewhere that i can have more tanks!
