Hi All

Just a quick query regarding stocking on my tanks at the moment. I know I am pretty well stocked on both tanks when all fish are Adults but could I add anything else to them.

I have 2 decent filters running on the 365 ltr tank and 1 for the 110ltr.

If people do not recommend any more, do you think I could swap some fish from one to the other. trying to work out what would work out well together.

I think I would like to move out the kuhli and other loach into the larger tank.

On a side note, trying to work out actual volume of my large tank. It measures 150X45X64cm I have been looking at various web sites for the volumes and I seem to get different results all the time. Ranging from 378 - 441 ltr anyone know what it should be.

Checked on PFK website and it says 441 ltr 97G 116 US G and then a probable volume of 397ltr 87G 105USG

Ok after typing all the above on Volumes I know where I got 365Ltr from it is from the probable volume of the stocking density

Thanks
Dave

first off your tank is 432 litres or near enough 115 USG.

i'd leave stocking as it is unless you have a reason to move it?

:good:

Thanks, have a good reason to move it, I will be moving house shortly. So it maybe a good time to move the fish around.

Would you think I could add a shoal of cardinals to the larger tank. They are great in the smaller tank and would make the larger one a little more colourful.

i'd say you do have room in your bigger tank to add some more fish.

Do you think a shoal of cardinals would be alright, I know that they are not the most exciting fish but look nice.

with the loss of my Tiger Barbs I no longer have any mid/top dwelling fish, so I am looking for something to replace them. Probably want something smaller though.

Any Thoughts.
