Stocking Advise

Yup i was looking that one and the slightly longer 78" one not uch in price difference. Do you think it will be big enough for arowana/gar combination or rays or two small width wise? I've got a bunch of convicts cichlids in the shed atm in a makeshift 80 litre tank with a heater meant for 100-200litre tanks, im going to see how it holds up in the cold weather. If theyre ok i know any tank i get with the added heat of insulation will deffo be fine :)

hi there have you tried poseidons palace seem cheap to me

30" wide would be big enough for an asian arowana but silvers can get almost a foot longer than asians so unsuitable really, but if your not fussy about which asian you like then greens are only about £150 and ed tailed golds about £300.
if you could get scobina a pair would be ok or reticulatus like mine would be fine as they only get to around 12" disc size.

Hit a slight flaw in my plan... Getting it into the shead, basically the door is 30" wide and about 6' tall so would be incredibly tight squeeze( might see if i can take the door frame off as well) and the window into the shed if about 21" tall and about 3' accross to wouldnt fit through there! I'm going to be raising the roof in the shed to make it taller so i might take the roof off and stick it in through the top, although when i come to move house not 100% sure how id get it back out lol.

Going to have to go with 6x2x2 to fit it in which is #105### as i wanted rays and arrowana. Going to sort the flooring out as it's not level atm and start thinking about insulation. Would loft insulation work ? the shed is brick so could i use loft inuslation then some wooden boards ? So it'd go Brick > Insulation > Wood . Anythoughts? My dad has a metal shead which has polysterene boards then wood but it still gets pretty chilly in there.
