Hoping to get some ideas on stocking, 1st tank, currently cycling.
Tank is 2ft 64 litres

Was thinking something along the lines of

5x corys
5x Neons
Maybe a couple of Gouramis?

Any other things that would be a good suggestion for a tank my size? :)

New to all of this :p

a betta, or a dwarf gourami would fit nicely, maybe even 1 male and 2 female dario darios
PS you should up the numbers of neons to 6-7 if you wanted to keep a betta

I would up those numbers personally to at least 6, as generally the bigger the numbers the happier the fish. You'd probably be looking at honey or sparkling gouramis in that tank size. Not too sure about dwarfs, someone will probably mention this. I'd look at peppered, panda or even dwarf cories for the tank, though if you went for a species of dwarf cory, you would be able to have a greater number as they tend to max out at no more than 3cm depending on 3 species (there are 3 common 'dwarf cory' species).

Mmmmmmm?

Personal views. Gourami, especially dwarf variant require and well planted and very mature (not just cycled) set up.

Most Cory grow to 2"+ and should be in a same species group of 4-6 or more.

Betta can be harassed and nipped by Neon Tetra.

Suggest.

6 x Neon Tetra (as you like them)

6 x Harlequin Rasbora

6 x Pygmy Cory.

Use sand substrate for best result with any Cory.

This would be every so slightly over stocked but with good filtration would be an entertaining and hardy set up providing a successful fish less cycle was completed first.
