Stocking Advice?

So I just bought a fifty us gallon aquarium and I have no idea how to stock it. All I know is what my lfs told me and I learned the hard wa to not trust them... I know for sure I want guppies and mollies...but they will be all male...I'm keeping females in a separate tank... But I have no idea what else to get! Does anyone have any suggestions about how many of what kind of fish I should get? Oh yea and I want shrimp too if that's possible. But, again, I don't know how many and what kind of those to get

what sort of thing do you like? Colour, mad fins, character etc?

Any one of those is good! I love color but I will get that by having guppies and mollies but I love character too

Stocking is a personal choice. There are so many options available to you. You have to find out what you like. Go to your LFS, try a few different ones and see what they have, do a search and find out and maybe the LFS will be able to order fish in for you.

As far as shrimp goes, I love algae shrimp. Red cherries are great too as well and so is the yellow version of them.
