So I am setting up a fifty gallon within the next few days...It is a fifty (us) gallon, it will have sand substrate and hopefully live plants and driftwood...the only issue is that I have no idea how to stock my tank and I am really not too keen on listening to my lfs so I came here
...so these are some fish that I want or that I think I would enjoy having:
guppies
Mollies (balloon bellies and/or dalmations)
Endlers
Glass fish
Cories (pandas maybe?)
Neon tetras
Shrimp (ghost or cherry or algae, I don't really know yet)
Gouramis
I am expecting to get reprimanded on this, but these are only some cool fish that I would love to keep...and I know I won't probably be able to keep all of these in the new 50 gal. If anyone can help me by giving suggestions or tell me how many of each fish I can keep in this tank that would be awesome! And also if there's a specific type of Shrimp, guppy, Molly, Cory, gouramis, etc. That you would suggest me to keep
The tank is about 4 feet long and a little over a foot wide, I forgot how tall but I'm aout a thousand miles away from home right now and can't really remeasure the height at the moment
but I am going to be home tomorrow but let me know if you need to know how tall it is
.
Thanks in advance,
Meg
