Ok so, I've got 5 female betta in a 15g( 25" long, 10" deep, and 12" tall) planted tank, and I'm about to transfer my one male to a 10g(15" long and 10" deep and tall), also planted, tank...

For the females I'm definitely hoping to get some mates, but I since my male is getting the bigger tank I've been thinking maaabe I'd like to try stock it with some more as well.

Mainly bottom feeders [emoji14]

So my question is this--khuli loaches and cory cats. How many, and in which tanks, and can I mix them in the 15g or would I be over stocking? I was thinking 5-6 cories, and maybe 3-4 khuli in the 15g, and another small handful of khuli in the 10g with the boy. He's extremely shy and timid, and has shown zero signs of agression up till now, but who knows. If I could maybe put both in the 10g too that'd be nice as well, but I'm thinking it's probably too small for quite that much.

And snails, could I toss a couple snails in these tanks as well? I'm hoping to keep the algea to a minimum, clearly

What type of substrate do you have?
Some places say 6 is minimum number you should have, I call that nonsense 10 to 12 should be minimum, and make sure they have lots of places to hide, they will feel more confident and come out more.
I have 15 in a 2 foot 15 gallon tank.

A large grain sand :) and dang -- the internet has way too much contradicting information, haha! I read 4 as a minimum [emoji14]

The tank is currently about... I'd say 70% planted, and will certainly be getting more plants and decor before I add anything else for the sake of my girls, so I suspect the kuhli would be happy too?

Assuming I add the kuhli though, can I also put in Cories or should I call it quits with the one type of bottom feeder?

Given the tank sizes here, I would not recommend multiple substrate-level fish. Some cories will get a bit large for either anyway. We don't have your source water parameters, and some cories are fussier than others with parameters (being wild caught).
