hi i've been asking everywhere what fish to have in a 105l and now thought of discus i know they should be kept in atleast a group of 6 so i was wondering if i could have them in there?

No, you need at least a min of 10g per discus, which would mean 60g min for a group of 6. Your tank is less than half that - you might get away with a confirmed breeding pair, but it'd be a very tight squeeze. Depending on tank height (18" or more), a pair of angels might be better suited?

Yeah i agree, if you kept some small discus in there you'd definately need to upgrade to a larger tank for them as they grow as the tank is too small for adult discus, so you might as well get them a suitably sized tank now or don't get them at all.

them killifish look amazing i want some!!! what size do they get to and do they need groupes?

There are lots of different types of killifish, they vary a lot in colour and patterning but all are beautifully coloured stunning litte fish- some can be quite agressive and/or territorial though, so you gotta stock them very carefully with other fish and research very carefull on the exact type of killfish you are getting.
Check out The British Killifish Association, they have loads of types of killifish listed there and loads of info on them (lots of great pics too of killifish);

I don't know about rams, but a lot depends on the individual type of killifish, you'll have to look through the site i gave above yourself. There's a couple more pfk articles on them too if you are interested.

Wow, I have never seen any killfish in my local LFS's, they are beautiful.

They are not that uncommon, because there are many types of killifish they range from being very rare to relatively common depending on the type. If your lfs is any good, they should be able to specially order in some killifish for you if you see any that take your fancy after you've done some research- for better quality specimens though, check out and see if there are any good independant breeders in your area that specialise in them (you might even be able to find some on the forum if you do a thread) :thumbs: .

Wow how stunning are those fish.

Its giving me an idea for the next tank...
