what shall i put in it? lol

im was thinking some dwarf cichlids like rams or such?

If your are going into the dwarf chiclids then i wouldnt suggest rams because they require a 20 gallon. However if you have good filtrilation water chngaes every 3-4 days and no other fish then your rams will be fine in that tank.
I can give you many other suggestions in what to put in the 10 gallon but if you want to go with dwarf chiclids then there arent really much options, maybe a keyhold chiclid. Thats about it :/

With Rams keeping them in a 10 gallon would be impractical because of territorial factors, rather than water cleanliness IMO.

I'm out of ideas for a 10, short of shelldwellers, dwarf puffers and the other usual suspects.

ill ask my LFS about puffers tomorrow

Remember the puffers which are suitable!

C.lorteti

These puffers are very similar.

Dwarf Puffers

You will be able to keep 2 in this tank. No more, and you will have to ensure the tank is planted.

T. conchinchinensis. Otherwise known as Fangs puffer

These are all the puffers suitable for a ten gallon. If you can, print these before you go, and take them with you. Even though a tank might be labelled one thing, the puffers inside may be something else, something I regularly see in LFS's (Fangs labelled as GSP, etc).

Let us know how you get on, and certainly don't add puffers to an uncycled tank!

my 10gal is mature and has been up at least 6 months, ill try and get some dwarfs as they are too cute

You say in your signature it's currently housing a single zebra danio, and the bioload difference between a zebra danio and even a dwarf puffer is colossal, puffers are filthy. I would be concerned that there isn't enough beneficial bacteria in your filter.
