Stocking 18 Gallon

Any advise for stocking a 18 gallon? I would like to have a lot of different kinds of fish. Preferably it would include corys, dwarf loaches, and shrimp. I'm not sure about any other fish that I should include; do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

What are the dimensions of the tank? As I'd suggest different for a long tank, rather than a tall or hex etc.
