Hi,

I have a 125 L tank and i'm running 2 internal filters, Fluval 2+ (I kept it in when I upgraded to the 125L) and Fluval 3+. I'm looking to add some new stock but i'm unsure how much more I can put in the tank.

So far my stock is as follows:

6 Peppered Cory
3 Panda Cory
10 Neon Tetra

Now I would like to add 3 more panda cory to make 6 and I am looking for a mid to high level easy maintenance fish to brighten it up as the neons stay bottomish to mid level and it has to be able to live with the corys. I love the corys and if stocking would allow I would like to increase at least one family to 8 but I think I might be stretching it but I'm certainly no expert when it comes to stocking.

If anyone can give me some good suggestions on mid/high level fish (I don't want guppies) and if anyone can advise on my stocking for the corys that would be helpful!

Thanks

Agreed about adding 3 more panda cories. You could probably top up both schools to 8 and the neons to 15 then add in a pair/trio of some kind of dwarf cichlids like Apistogramma Cacatuoides or Laetacara Dorsiger or Buckelkopf if you can find them. Bolivian Rams could work also though these would stay low down as well but it may encourage the tetras up. Alternativley you could leave the tetras at 10 and the cories at 6 each and get something like 6-8 marbled hatchet fish these stay at the surface all the time and will really look good in your tank I think the dwarf cichlids I mentioned would be cool as well so for example thats

2 Laetacara Dorsiger 2 Laetacara Dorsiger
15 Neon Tetras 10 Neon Tetras
8 Peppered Cories or 6 Marbled Hatchets
8 Panda Cories 8 Peppered Cories
8 Panda Cories

Wills :)

How about a pair of rams, either bolivian or german blue depending on your water hardness / PH level.

Also the level of nitrates in your tap water may affect which you can keep although both are pretty sensitive.

See My Sig for any ideas!
The dwarf blue gouramis cover pretty much the whole tank and my purple emperor tetras bomb around all over the tank and their agility is amazing its like watching miniaturised Tuna they're that lively! My Guppies and Wcmm's are a bit boring but just add a bit of surface movement as for the African Dwarf Frogs they have to be my best buy as they are the most comical things ever they dart to the top of the tank every now and then for a gulp of air and then dart back down and hit the substrate or anything in their way head first and when you drop a cube of bloodworm in for them they stand guard and will lunge at your other fish but just aren't quick enough it's so funny!
I'm gonna have to get some pics up of them they're that cool!
