Stocked Tank?

Hi all,

Recently new to the tropical fish world and this forum.

I've had my tank up and running now for about 2 months.
60L tank running a Fluval U2

Currently I've got...

3 Zebra Danio's
1 Lepoard Danio (shop messed up)
6 Cardinal Tetras
6 Guppies (2 Female/4 Male)
1 Red Tailed Black Shark (Moving tanks once he's bigger)
1 Bristle Nose
2 Amano Shrimp

I'm not too fond of the guppies as they have been the bullies in my tank although seem a little settled since the BN arrived. (Considering swapping the guppies)

Wondering if my tank is fully stocked or if i can add more?

Also what fish suggestions?

The danios may not do so well with a 15.8 gal/60 liter tank, I might suggest something bigger. From what I know I think they need (if you can) a 20 gal/75.7 liter tank. (Yes I know I have a danio myself in a 10 gallon but I want to give it away to a person with a bigger tank soon.)

I would say that it is fully stocked / over stocked.

I guessed as much.

If I took the guppies out what could i put in. I'd like a bit of size difference in the tank. But nothing too big obviously.

Also anyone know how i can put a picture of my tank up? Only says i can put 100k attachment up.

If you take the guppies out then you are at about the maximum stock level for that tank when the fish reach full size, so you shouldn't be adding any more fish. But it depends on how good your filter is, how often you clean the tank and change water etc.

I would add that the RTBS needs to move now rather than later; fish kept in tanks that are too small become stunted and either never grow properly or die at a young age.

Personally i would remove everything but the Cardinals and Shrimp, then up the numbers to 8 Cardinals and add some more Amano's. As centre pieces i would suggest a Honey Gourami, maybe a pair.

8 Amano Shrimp

And possibly an Apple Snail or 2.
