Stock!

You shouldn't keep the twig catfish in that tank.
You've asked for advice and haven't taken it, you've just taken the advice above because it suits you, not your fish...

Goodluck to your fish

well youve got a lot of positive responses that you are sure to ignore, the point of having fish as a hobby is to create an environment that will suit all your fish and keep them well, theres more to it than you think so i suggest you put you head in some books, look on the web or take the advice your given and learn from your mistakes........better still get some parental guidence and get another tank.

not usualy annoyed by comments that people make but this is beyond a joke

good luck and learn fast......... take care

Parental guidence? Im the most knowledgeable person in my family when dealing with certain animals. I researched for a full year non-stop on tropical fish, and three years on my bearded dragon. Ive progressed well and consider my self near expert in 'specialist animals'. I was just being sarcastic because of you all having a go at me. Cheers for the advice non-the-less.

No-ones having a go at you, i'm just wondering why you asked for help if you had no intention of listening?

It's like i just wasted 1min of my life trying to help someone he didn't want help.

Now i've wasted another 1min typing this :p

I am listening to you, just you all type the same thing?!? Ive took your advice and shall be doing it within the next week or two.

(You support Man Utd? SCUM!, Only jk.)

big apology from me, i was very rude and should have stepped back a bit and thought before i started typing

dont let my comment affect your decision to use this site

and i really do wish you the best with your tank.......once again.......SORRY!

I'd avoid the twig catfish, from what I've seen they get to 6-7 inches which is a bit large for a tank your size. You might be able to get away with one if you cut down on your stocking drastically but the way you're currently stocked there wouldn't be enough room unless you upgrade to a larger tank.

Does your tank have a sandy substrate? If you've got gravel, rehome the kuhli loaches and up the corydoras numbers, the kuhlis can injure themselves on the gravel.

Small gravel substrate, they seem ok. Ill see what i can do about them too.

tessla....good advice took the words out of my mouth

adam: thanx for excepting my apology. i'm not really that rude just straight talking    its good that you are now sitting back and thinking of what we all have to say........together we can enjoy a happy fullfilling future with our little darlings...........i'm sure im SAD

Ok, thanks for the advice again. :good:
I may change my substrate to sand in the near future.

Very small rounded gravel should also work so long as you have plenty of hiding places for the kuhlies. I keep mine with a fine sand but they prefer to huddle under my bogwood. I actually see them out a lot more than I expected to, I think it's because they have a hiding spot that they can get to quickly without having to burrow... just a thought if you aren't seeing yours out much.

Yea, theirs alot of hiding places in my tank. And yes its small rounded gravel.

Adam,
Will your LFS take the Shark and Betta?. If they won't buy them, ask if they'll trade for plants/food/etc.
