I got 2 african kenyi chiclids today to cycle my 10 gallon tank. Those will be the only occupants except for maybe a bristlenose pleco. I have a 20 gallon filter on it and plan on doing water changes twice a week after i get the tank cycled and the pleco. Or when they need it according to the levels. But here is a pic of Stinky...

Hope everyone likes him... and the other is named Aqua Punk and is a purpley bluey one with white horizontal stripes... very light ones... they are just addorable and think they will turn out magnificent.

Why r u using them to cycle ur tank? theres a good chance they might not make it

sorry, but that is not a kenyi, that is an auratus. 10 gallons is not going to be big enough for them when they are adult. these fish are very aggressive and will need a bigger footprint than a 10 to establish territories. also not best kept in pairs. if you find you do have a male and female, you will need to add more females. otherwise the male will more than likely kill the female.

Yeah..your gonna need a larger tank for your fish. They are very nice tho.
