Stinky Water

I did a 20% water change on my tank which i did with the tank lights off. I use a black bucket i got the water to correct temperature dechlorinated etc add completed the change.

When i put lights back on the water was quite cloudy.

i looked at a glass of tapwater and it is the mains that is cloudy.

Has this happened to anyone else will it affect fish

If you run the tap on full for a while, does the water stop being cloudy?

It might just be air? My parents main is often cloudy with air in the system.

Where'd you get the original tank water from? Did you get it from the same tap/mains? Has this cloudiness happened before? What does the cloudy water smell like? How're your fishes coping with the cloudy water?

Never happend with me but IMO U should use RO water as it's loads better and there's loads of bad thing in the tap water mostle stuff like copper and sometimes nitrates. It's also slighly cheaper

Yeah i always use the same tap to get water.

It doesn;t seem to affect the fish. they are as normal.

I have tried running the water but still slightly cloudy.

I suppose i'll have to sit it out as i can't change it

Does using RO water affect PH or anything?
