hopefully should be getting my latest betta tank in the next couple of weeks and just to let you all know i am still on the lookout for preferably a cambodian male, failing that I want a pale male that will look good under a moonlight on the tank :)

any has seen anything locally or has anything.....PM me :good:

Theres a tiny pet shop in Morley(W.Yorkshire) well on outskirts not in the town and they have quite afew camby males theres some HM, CT and PKs in that colour also some nice white males and light pink.

Worth a trip if ya can make it, there £3.50 each

I've found this guy today, is this a sort of cambo, or is it marbled?
I'm in two minds as to get him or not, may have to raid all the fish shops 2morrow to decide!

what do ya think?

thats marbled,

technically cambodian only applies to white body, with red fins, although people refer to blue cambodians etc. although, you could probably get yellow cambodians, seeing as yellow is caused by the presence of red, but with the red loss gene(if that makes any sense!)

anyway, there is far to much colour on the body of that fish for it to be considered a cambodian anyway (even if it was red)

still a pretty fishy though.

yeah, my ideal would be a cambo with pinky fins tipped with blue, a nice VT or SD......not really sure i'll find that though, I will definately try 2morrow, maidenhead had girls before exacty what i wanted but they 'lost' them all to bloody whitespot, i was so peed off!
