I saw a tank full of stickle backs for sale once. It was a really wierd fish shop-wards garden centre in Dronfield. The tank was a really nice modern corner tank, full of these very drab, common fish, with no scape or anything.
Why are you so interested in breeding them?
And well done to you for not just grabbing some and sticking them in a jar

Yeah i'm not normal. I don't rush into things like other 13 year olds. The reason i want to breed them is because i like them and i know a couple of people who want some but don't know where to get them from.

Right if i can keep my bedroom tidy for 1 month i can get a brand new tank AND keep my 2ft which means i can do the breeding set-up.

Anymore advice for keeping sticklebacks apart from the cooler water. Will they need water conditioner?

i used to buy them from a lfs near were
i used to live they were in with gold fish
and small koi i think she still gets them in
a lot of really good koi and cold water specialists
normally stock sticklebacks . i used to catch them
in the river and streams when i was a kid i used to sit with my snorkel
on watching them nice fish
