Yes hun, i haven't really had the time to collect and look after all the eggs that have been laid so i pretty much got the eggs that were easily accessible and just collected a few to keep my spare time occupied. I think there is three different batches within the container now i moved 5 much larger ones into the main tank to see how they get on.

corydoras fry are sooooo cute lol
these are lovely. what are you planning on doing with them?

and why did you sell the parents??

atleast you still have a breeding group though :good:

these are a little too small to be added to a tank arent they?

Most of these ones were saved for my nephew but im not to sure now how many he wants now lol.

I had a 180 ltr tank dedicated to the parents and ive downgraded to just one tank for now because of other half been pregnant and not really having the time for all the tanks i had, so basically i had to keep one tank ans use that to house what fish i had, would have been way over stocked if kept big group aswell ;) and the fact i had a separate breeding group within another tank so i didn't leave my self with none.

Well dependant on tank mates some of these would be big enough to go in the main tank, but the rams are quite chasy with small objects/fish so they will have to grow on abit first before i consider the move. I did move 5 bigger ones into the main tank to get an idea of size they could be added and so far so good, all 5 are still alive and well.... so.... we'll see with the rest :).

Do you still have yours?, are they still breeding?.

no man  dont have mine anymore...i moved to the opposite end of the country so i had to get rid of all my fish...regret it so much!
it took me so long to get the things into a breeding cycle and then i had to sell them!
not had a single fish for 3 months now and im having withdrawal symptoms lol

im looking to start again though...with a 5 footer as i live in a house this time! :hyper: ive got a perfect alcove just over 5 feet for it to snuggle into.
i dont think i'm gonna encourage breeding this time round though as im looking for a community to be awwed by fellow students at house parties rather than a profitable project...ive had the experience as well as the hassle lol but who knows whats gonna happen!

Gutted for you m8, i know how much time and effort you put into getting them to spawn and raise the fry, im sure once you get some more they will breed for you. That's pretty much the plan for the tank im keeping, general community. What ever eggs i can get before the rest of the fish do i will raise to keep what little spare time i will have occupied lol.

I know how you feel about not having any fish, becomes part of you once you get a tank and once it's gone , it's like losing a leg ;)

haha! maybe not quite like loosing a leg :shifty: but i know where you're coming from!

and if the fry you have now are big enough from transportation when I get a tank ready...hopefully not long after new years...i shall give you some cash in exchange for them if you're wanting to get rid of them. the fish around here aren't too good in terms of quality lol im a wary about buying these fish.
im thinking i may have to, unwillingly, purchase...ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: it only just occured to me that this thread was posted yesterday...they're not gonna be ready for months lol
