Hum, looks like they were right and I was worng. Just been looking through a list of fish disease information sources I put together while researching Discus, and apparently metro isn't any good. Paraqitezole(SP?), formalin, malachite green, Flubendazole and Potesium Permanganate will apparently all work. Patasium Permanganate is the most commonly recomended treatment for Flukes on the net, but I can tell you from my ponding days, that PP is a very dangerous med. It will wipe bio-filters whenever used, and will wipe out the tanks fish stock if even slighly overdosed. It is useless if underdosed... I certainly wouldn't recomend treating with PP in a small tank, it's just too risky and unreliable IMHO
I have used Flubendazole for Flukes before, but needs a vet's perscription now for purchase. Formalin is what the Waterlife product is based on. It will work, but slowly IME, and will take in excess of 4 weeks to clear the flukes from the system

I have never used Malachite Green for it, or Prazi, but I know many on here recomend the latter quite highly
I cannot tell you how any of those will interact with metro, nor can I find any links describing the reaction between the two. I'd advise finishing the Metro course before moving on

Have you found a caurse for the Hex yet? If they are like discus, hex in angels could be down to poor diet, poor waterquality or carbon dust getting into the aquarium
All the best
