Starting to go mad!!

but, it doesn't seem like you are listening.

I do that feeding thing but with tubifex instead. so i am listening.

That has been only thing sugested apart from giving them time.

IVe done all that i can, low light, tall plants, good food, in a large number no threat from any other larger fish. I cant do anything more???

But do your research first, it's not fair to the fish to be re-homed so many times.

Ive done research and ive seen plenty of tanks on this website which havnt got half as much plants as i have and you can see the neons swimming in the middle of the tank together.

It doesn't seem to me like you have given them enough time. You firts posted yesterday, that is only about a day for them to settle. Give them longer!

the only time i've seen my neons hide is when they were not feeling very well. i tend to skip a day of feeding once a week (well i try but i'm a total push over). perhaps if you skipped a day of feeding they will be hungry enough to come out when they see you feed the next day and then you could get a real good look at them to see if something's up.
good luck!

well i'd say you are trying too hard, just make sure the water is clean and suited for neons, then give them time to settle in, they might even be a dodgy batch of fish :(

Are you really that worried about the fish themselves when you are prepared to get rid of a tank full of fish?

If you had researched you would realise that neons are NO way near the best shoaling fish and infact dont usually shoal at all in aquariums unless theyfeel threatened in any way.

I am very dissapointed that you are now contemplating taking the neons back because they arent doing exactly what you want in a matter of days.

It seems to me you need to get yourself some patience and research anything before you buy it as you OBVIOUSLY dont know what you want.

1 fish may make al of the difference ..... Alot of times troubled/hiding fish are coaxed out with fish that aren't nervous and just swim and get first dibs on food IMO this seems too work
