Starting Over With New Project

Hi everyone,

I have an Rena aqua 100 (42 uk gals) which my 11 year old son and I are going to do up. We are going to ditch the gravel and try sand.

Is sand hard work?

Stocking
We would like a selection of fish. We like Angel fish. How many could be kept together, what sexes? and what stock would be good with them? We like cardinals and juli cories.

Any advice welcome

Sand not really hard work, ok if its had a good rinse first, I just hover above it with the syphon and it lifts any debri, your corys will thank you for it and the'll munch up any scraps on the sand

Angel fish need a tank at least 18inches high as they do grow very big. They will also eat smaller fish, neons are their natural prey I think, very similar to cardinals

My tank is big enough to hold angel fish but id like to no how many and what sexes

Anyone?? How many Angels could I have in a 42 uk gal tank? Or should I just go for a pair? tank size= 100x40x49

I would say one pair, or you may get aggression.
