Looking to get my mits on a 6ft tank. Went trekking abroad nearly 2 years ago and didnt bother getting my Juwel vision back from my mothers, hence the long absence on the forum.

It will be a completeley new setup and as iv been out of the game for a while need some advice on the latest news.

Which would be better - a fluval fx5 or 2 rena filstar xp4's? It is a 620 litre tank im looking at. Im thinking of going heavily planted with neons, rams etc so ill read up on that forum shortly.

Also on lighting, whats the latest formula / advice to work out total watts necessary for such a tank?

Does anyone know where i can get a Back to Nature slim line background from? I need to order a new one for the new tank and will be getting rid of my old one.

Thanks

well if you go over 2WPG with T12's you need presurized CO2 and Ferts,

even 1WPG of T5 you will need CO2 and ferts.

have you already got lighting?

Hi

Lighting i have is standard to the tank - 4 x 58W tubes. Will be looking at pressurised co2 system as i already have bottle and regulator, but need bubble counter and night shut off solenoid and diffuser.

for ferts id go for TPN+ tropica plant nutrition+ it contains everything you need and is the best 'all in one' fertilzer in the UK according to reveiws i have just started using it.
