I have decided to properly convert my tank to hi-tech. i have slowly been doing this but i find it is hard to do certain things in this way.
below (hopefully) is the plan i have. I have used teh latest pfk for inspiration.
my tank is of size, 125l and is 80cm x 40 x 40. I am looking for a background plant which wouldn't reach the water's surface.
I was thinking of including Cryptocoryne undulata and mabey some Anubias barteri, but this again may be a bit too big i would like to include som java fern (Microsorum pteropus) as a mid/back ground plant.
For subdtrates and equiptment i was thinking coarse gravel (the stuff i have atm) with some added root tabs(or if there is a ferterlised gravel). In the Centre i could use 3mm fine sand. I Have a nutrafin fermentaion co2 system set up with a micro bubble diffuser. i Also have a fluval 205 external filter. I intend to do the ei method of ferts. I have potential fo 94 watts of lighting.
it would be great to hear your comments and advice.
