Hi there everyone ive been a memeber on the forum for a few years now and ive been into marine keeping for the last 3 years or so, ive slowly lost interest in the marines due to the ammount of maintenance and the cost etc etc.
Anyway i should be breaking the tank down in the next few weeks and ide like to convert it to a planted aquarium with some nice drift wood as a centre piece and some nice plants surrounding it.
The tank is 32" wide 24" tall and 20" front to back with a sump below in the cabinate

Ive got a few questions to ask so if anyone could help out it will be much appreciated.
Will i need to keep my skimmer i had on my marine system??
Can i use the refugium i have been using in my marines??
Will i need any pumps inside the tank for added circulation or will a decent power return pump from the sump be ok?? currently has 2 outlets in the tank.
I have 6 aquarays strips on my marines will i be ok using them on the planted aquarium?? i have 3 reef white (2 blue 3 white led) 2 x marine white (all white) and 1 x reef blue (all blue)Would i need to keep them all or would i only need to keep a few of them??
