So I bought a 76l tank and was going to use it for my female Bettas as well as maybe get some more small fish and was going to ask: What kind of plants do you think my Bettas will like?

Also I am going to be buying a mangrove root for the tank so that they can hide in.

Sounds good and I guess I am just worried with my floating plants that they will get stuck with how much they try swimming over parts that are out of water instead of going under where it is free space.

And as I type this my crowntail male is trying to show off his fins lol.

i have a big 'ball' of Cabomba floating the girls sleep in it, the cories do too

My boys like big ferns to rest on :good:

Lol my boys tend to try to stay as close to the girl's tank and have actually been tearing up plants I put in with them.

My cories on the other hand like to sleep right under the filter and like to try to swim with the filter current

So I got 2 root set up instead of the 1 and will be getting the plants next week after the water cycles a little bit more

It looked good till I put fish in and came to find out that they got fin rot after putting them in today and sadly I know it is fin and not them nipping even after putting 3 knew fish because of how holes are popping up so tomorrow is a trip to the lfs for some medication (I did do a 50% water change but I would rather be safe then sorry)

I wish I could say that was true for my dominate girl but I do hope I don't really need the medication tomorrow so I have my fingers crossed also my Julii Cories Jack and Jill seem to like to stay under my heater while my the girls hide inside not under the roots which is where I was going to put the plants I will be getting hopefully this week
