Started using my Almond Leaf T-bags :)

Well my shipment of Almond Leaf t-bags that I ordered last week have arrived from thailand, Started soaking one bag last night and gonna try using it on my bettas for conditioning! Also have a two recent rescues bettas from a lady on here, who have torn fins so they are going to have some Almond water added to there tanks..

Time to see if it's as good as I read on here!

They are the BEST!!!! I used it all the time but mine is not teabags. Whole leaf. You can make a lighter solution to all your bettas althought they are not sick. You will see the improvement of the color especially red.
Adding
Wasan, the thailand betta breeder told me a teabag is equal to one indian almond leaf. The longer you soak, it will get darker and the water are more acidic if you leave it for few days. Rotten leaf usually turn water to acidic if soaking too long. Try to used Ph test so it will not below 7 Ph. 7.2Ph is the best. Let you know ahead.

I bought my almond leaf tea bags from Wasan and am using them with my bettas as well.

here is an exclusive tip from ^conan^ a well known thai breeder of wilds:
"Indian Almond leave is very useful as bkk described. But be careful, you have to be sure that the leaf is clean. Using uncleaned leaf can cause several disease too.
This is how I use Indian Almond leave for my fishes, and my fishes always healthy and never die from disease.
I put 5 Indian Almond leave in 3 litres of water, then boil it about 20 - 25 min.
wait until it cool down, pour the water into a bottle. When I change water for my fishes, I will mix this Indian Almond leave water to new water."
so you see, you can do the same thing with tea bags and always have a concentrate on hand

Happy to hear about the news! I have been using Indian Almond for awhile and its been a blessing. I personally like to use the leaf over the bag because my bettas like to build there nests under the leaf (like the one in my info). I use about 1/4 of a leaf per gallon for treatment and 1/8 of a leaf for normal water conditioning.
