Started my cycle process

So my first dose was added late friday night.
Today was day 4
Anyways i got these readings

Ammonia - 0.25ppm
Nitrite - 1.0ppm

Is this good?

This is good. Things have started.

Now you need to continue to be patient, and follow the cycling article. Test again on Day 7 to see if your nitrites are clearly over 2ppm. If so, add another dose (3ppm) and test every 2 days. Don't add ammonia before then, as it takes the nitrite colony a lot longer to get to a useful size, and you'll end up with too much nitrite in the tank, which can stall your cycle.

I posted here as wasn't sure about adding Ammonia. I was so tenpted bit then a voice in my head said dont. It could ruin it all. Be patient!

So i will wait for the Nitrite to be over 2ppm and add my second dose.

I wrote down all the steps so i have it to hand when doing the testing.
