Tell me what you think. I know I need more plants, current plants to fill out, few more fish, better light, background. But comments welcome (just dont be too harsh).

Thanks

Looks good now, but once you should take out all the fake plants and add real ones! You can get plants like Anubias nana/barteri or Crypt's they do okay in that type of lighting. Once you get the new lighting system the will have over 2 WPG, then you can add a huge range of plants!

I really only bought the fake plants is to give some hiding for the fish while the plants have a chance to grow. I also want some plants with color. I hear they require more light though, so Id have to wait for my new light. I also really want my Java Moss to grow. Its came green on outside and brown in the middle, so its ugly, but once it goes all green and it covers the slate, I think it will look nice. Thanks for the comment.

I really need to add more fish too. Notice how all my fish are orange/red. Didnt Realize it until came home with all my new barbs. Im thinking of like a blue Gourami.

TBH, if you're going to take out the fake plants and replace them with live ones, I'd change the substrate to a darker, more natural colour. It'll REALLY bring out the colour of your fish.

Im thinking im going to leave the gravel in, but I added a black background, which helps bring the color out. Plus, no more baseball background...

Heres the new stuff. I added pics of new plants (for ID, so could anyone tell me what they are), my new Angels, and the whole tank. Also, how soon until my female swordtail gives birth? Can anyone give me a good guess. Thanks

New Angels. Pretty arent they?

Thanks for comments!

Nice tank shorty, should look gr8 once the plants fill out a bit. Can't help with the plant ID sorry!! I hae the first 2 in my 260l tank and cant remember what they are. Very fast growers though, I have to cut the bottom half off every 2 weeks and replant!! The new growth is always red and contrasts nicely with the greener plants.

Regards,

Bricko

NICE ASS TANK! Love the realness of the fake plant and plastic rock on the left! Are those Angelfish? I had a few in my 3 gallon tank. Is that Slate I see on the right? Really nice riccticulamustinance plant!

PS that plant for ID looks like some kind of green ludwigia. Thats just my personal option. Also, remove at least 4 of those cherry barbs. Should only be in groups of two. Your opinion or not but its for the fish. I suggest you add more fish. Maybe some analhumpalotinthebum. Great stuff

O by the way, im just kidding. Your tank sucks!
