Start Cycling Help

well i had a great idea........before you added the amonia.....

this stuff (bio-spira) automaticaly cycles your tank in about one second..... you pour it in, and you are good to go, cost me 25$ for 30 gallons worth, its around 8$ a ounce (ounce works for 30 gallons) but shipping is around 15 bucks..... (if you use 2 day shipping, which is smart to keep the bacteria cool and safe...)

plus allways refridgerate for a little bit after recieving....

i am going to use it for my puffer tank... since those require 100% cycling right away...

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!!!! bio spira does not and will not cycle your tank instantly, it just greatly speeds up the cycling time of your tank

ok today i added my bubble stone to get things moving, i scraped off some of the algae on the driftwood and did a 20% water change to try to get my ammonia down and start cycling.

ok when an hour past i tested the water and this is what i got
ammonia- .25
nitrate- close to 20
nitrite - .5
hardness- 50
alkalinity -40
Ph- 6.4
how am i doing with all this ? ( its been a week)

ok it has been a week now ..
ammonia - 0
nitrate - 10
nitrite - 0
harness - 50
alkalinity - 40
Ph - 6.4
because i added some water from my other cycled tanks, the filter and gravel with these results can we conclude i am all done cycling ??

well sinse nobody has replies i got some guppies and some shrimp to see how they last.
any help would be nice

I did a fishless cycle and I posted results every day on a post called Hubbies Tank, read it, it can be very useful. I tried it because of postings like this, I was trying to take the guess work out of a fishless cycle.

ill look for it, its just that i am busy lately. were these results about the same when yours was completed cycled?
