hi

One of my female swords is acting strange.

Its been sitting on the gravel for about 3 weeks only moving to get food or swim to another part of the tank.

I have treated the tank with king british diease clear treatment for the last 10 days.

Any ideas, she seems perfectly healthy apart form the sitting on the gravel.

Can you post your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Once livebeares rest of the substrate for long periods bad news.
is he leaning to oneside when he's resting.
Does he look pale or darker in colour.
His he acting listless and lethagic.
Does he look bloated or thin.
What does it look like when your fish go to the toilet.

Do you have male swords?

Is there any chance she could be pregnant?

Mine has been laying on the gravel recently and its turned out shes pregnant.

Or possibly the nitrate levels could be high? That can sometimes be the symptoms of that.

Do you know the stats?

The red poo could it be worms and not poo.
Without more info its hard to say as resting on the bottom can be bacterial.
