Stand Isn't Quite Level

sorry to jump in on the thread but I was planning on getting a Jewel Aquarium probably a smaller Rekord does anyone know if these eed a stand or would it be ok on a sturdy surface?

i have my rekord 98/96?? on my 10 mm thick glass table and it is fine but i was told to seriously consider buying the tabe because if something does go wrong the guarentee will cover it but i was just being stuburn as usual so i didnt but not a broblem yet.*touch wood*
