Will this tank stand work for a 46 gal. bowfront tank?

depends how wide the bowfront is at its widest point. If the bow fits onto the stand without hanging over (and all other sides also) then I don't see why it wouldn't work, as its up to 75gal.

I dare say even if it hung over a little it'd be fine, but I wouldn't want to recommend that as I'm speculating.

Is that Width measurement from its widest point? (ie, the middle of the bow)

If so, the dimensions of the stand suggest it would be possible:

50" W (length) x 19 9/16" D (width) x 30 5/16" H (127 x 49.8 x 77 cm).

If anything, the stand might be a bit large at 50" long but thats up to you and your living space
