Staining Teak Wood

I know that the natural beauty of teak wood is in its native color, but I'm wanting to match my tank cabinet to the rest of the house which is all much darker wood.

I've done the google search, but nothing has really come up as to how to do it. I'm assuming that since it's an incredibly dense wood, that it will be harder to stain. Is this true?

I'm just looking for pointers / how-to's on staining some teak wood.

I don't know if its not possible or just not popular but I have never heard of anyone using stain on teak. Just the teak oil that seals in the natural color.
