Here is my one successful fry from my first breeding attempt. I am so proud of how fast she is growing up. Unfortunately, I have been staying away from home a fair bit and my daddy has been looking after my fish. She has grown up nicely since i have seen her last. I used to travel her with me back and forth, but now that she is her own i trust leaving her in someone elses care.

I am stoked because she looks alot like her mum who died a couple days after she was born. After the cyclone here in Cairns her father also died. So she is a very special little fish my Squishy

She is lovely and no doubt will just get better with age. Sorry you lost both parents. With all the flooding in QLD lately I have been wondering what fish have possibly been released into the waterways, so many towns in CQ have just been a total washout. Poor old Baralaba has bascially been cut off since Dec last year, and I don't think I have seen the Fitzroy barrage gates closed once since the floods earlier in the year. Hope your little girl keeps growing up and one day you'll get to breed from her. Maybe any offspring you keep from her could have weather related names in memory of her parentage.
