 I think I have one... but I'm not sure lol. I'd like to know what they look like to confirm, because the package doesn't say. :X

Hmm... that doesn't seem to be it... hold on, I'll post a pic of what I've got. I used it successfully in a Betta Tank for a long time. Pic coming...

Here are the ones I use

Have a look here

It's an air powered filter system, more than the basic sponge type. A cross between a sponge filter & a milti-sponge (Juwel etc.) type with powerhead.

Should be ideal for a fry tank as well as a small community tank.

As the name suggests (Smallworld) I would think it's only suitable for tanks upto maybe 5 gals.

Others may have more info on it.

So it would grow all the good bacteria and stuff that people say sponge filters grow?

It's a bit like a box filter. Filter media in a plastic box and air powered.

It's fine for tanks where only light filtration is needed, eg for betta's or fry tanks where you don't want to suck the fry into a power filter! You still get the beneficial bacteria growing on it as the water is pulled through by the air being blown through. Just don't expect it to support a large or heavily stocked tank.

Would it support a 10g tank with about 8-10 bumblebee gobies?

Probablybe ok. I don't know how messy the bumblebee gobies are but make sure you don't overstock, and keep on top of your water changes too.
