Hi folks im in the process of breeding bronze and Albino Corys and in another tank i have white cloud Minnow Fish,
The Corries fry are getting to a stage now i will have to move to my 160 litre tank but dont think i can put all the corys in this tank with other fish,
so i have a 54 litre tank that i have set up with just sand and a sponge filter in it and heater , will a sponge filter be sufficent for this tank? Also recommendations for plants that corys and Minnows will thrive on

Yes, a sponge filter will suffice, and is generally recommended, in a Cory breeding tank.

I'm intending to use this as a main filter in this tank when the fry are older and I just have them with a. Few minnows

Sponge filters are awesome, easiest and cheapest to run!

Yes, it would still be suitable.

Do you have an air pump to run it?
