I took down my angels tank and put them With my discus. These 2 are a breeding pair and turns out the female is nasty when she is ready to spawn. The male is way more chill and gets along better with the others. I found some one across the country that would take them But I'm not shipping . I posed an add and 2 people that know nothing about fish wanted them. 1 was going to put them in a 5 gal. The other in a 10 gal hex.

These fish are realy nice and I get fry from them. I get attached to my fish and don't want to let them go but I can't keep the pair together they are too nippy.

Male the sunlight makes him look really gold.

anyone in Nothern cal or Northern NV want them?

Who do I keep.

So should I try and keep the female she is smaller and that pretty blue. Or do I keep the big nice laid back male? Or if when I take the male away will the female be nice again. She hates my festivum the most.

I want to keep the female for her look. But I have a feeling the male would be better.

I will add this Snowflake, I have the sibling to your female and while I can't tell if it is a male or female, it is pretty aggressive. When it was paired with another sibling, they were actively hunting neons and otos. I rehomed one and kept one. The lone angel now picks on my apistos but they can hold their own. These angels are so much more aggressive than my spawning pair.

She is a beauty though.

It stinks because she looks so good. I'm pretty sure the male will be fine with out her. I am goig to trade her in this week :(

I think you know you've answered your own question. Has to be the more peaceful one that stays.

Yeah but maybe with the male gone she will be better.... She is too mean for this tank. I need the room for my new discus that will be here next week. :hyper:

I will keep the male he has grown a lot and looks great. He has a nice personality too.

Ahhhh I don't know what to do. Do I give away them as a pair or keep my male. I found 2 people that would take them. I have a 55 gal could set up once I get my spare room organized. Then I could sort out my stock so tanks are not so over stocked. Hummmm I need to slowly get my ok with the idea.
