My beautiful Speedy has split his tail.. I noticed on Sunday and quarantined him immediately... I've been doing Melafix and Primafix to help, but is there anything else that I can do to save him and get his tail repaired? The last guppy that I had that did this lived 2 days and passed.... Currently he's doing well. He's eating and trying to be active.

There is really no need to drop all that medication on that fish, nor is there a need to quarantine him. The tail will grow back in about a week, and he'll be fine. You're actually doing more harm than good by medicating him and separating him from his tank mates.
If your other fish died, then there must have been something else wrong with him. There are no nerves in fish's fins, so a tear is really no big deal for them.

Do you have any nippy fish in the tank?
And sharp decor or fake plants?

UGH, the last thing I want to do is do more harm to him... okay, will put him back in the main tank tonight.... I didn't know that about not having nerves in their tail, I just see him swimming more on the bottom of the tank and obviously not swimming normally.

I have 1/2 live plants and 1/2 fake plants.. Fake plants do not have any sharp edges and have been in the tank since setup. I do have decor, but nothing sharp that I know of, but that's not to say something on the house I have in the tank has a bad corner.

No fin nippers that I've ever seen, at least during the day.. the tank is a community tank...guppies, corydoras, ghost shrimp, nerite snails
