From my earlier post, thanks for every thing. After looking in to it some more and everybody's help I do have a Archocentrus Spinosissimus and I think it’s the best fish in my tank as of now.
Let me ask this now. Having a 29 gal system with a Green Terror, Jack Dempsey, and the Spinosissmus. My Dempsey is the bully of the tank and will not leave the other two fish alone. When I put the system together the first combo I had was a Red Devil, Green Terror and the Jack Dempsey with the Red Devil being the bully. So I removed the Red Devil and put the Spinosissimus in it’s place. The Spinosissimus is the largest fish in the tank at 3 - 3-1/2 “ and the other two fish at about 2 - 2-1/2 “. At first the spinosissimus sort of keep the peace being the largest fish in the tank and all. Like when the dempsey would go and attack the green terror the Spinosissimus would intercept the attack so the Dempsey would not get to the Green Terror. It has been like this for two weeks now and today when I was at the tank the Dempsey was all over the Spinosissimus.
1) Is the tank to small?
2) Will the Dempsey cool out when it gets a little older or am I going to wake up one day and find 1/2 a spinosissimus floating in my tank.
As of now I have removed the Dempsey and put it in my 10 gal hospital tank. I am thinking of getting a different fish to go with the other two. I will be getting a 100 or 150 gal tank in about a years time maybe sooner, I am just using the 29 as a grow out tank for now.
Any fish combos would also be cool.
Thanks !
