thing is.....

Soo many ppl on here moan and complain about fish when they are miss treated...

they argue....fish are friends and they are our pets

However..spiders are also pets (and some make very very good pets)

I'm only making this point as i have seen soo many posts where members are livid when somebody say performs a fish in cycle (nevermind killing them)

How would some members respond to someone feeding their piranha's with live goldfish??

I myself am not complaining and im only replying to this thread to see what people oppinions are

I just think its a little hypocritical thats all

I suppose you could then counter by saying "how about live bloodworms"?

or by saying "the spiders i feed them are really small"

Ok..ill feed my piranha neon tetra then  (just an example, wouldnt actually do this)
Lol. i dont want an argument  but where does the line begin and where does it end?

i do see your point bt i mean the feeding of spiders to fish that would be omnivorous creatures and eat spiders in their habitat.

all tho i do not agree with some people ie feeding a cardinal tetra to a pirahna (just why)

there choice i have to say including all the shop clerks who tell you a pleco wont grow bigger than 3inches its all about awareness of the fact and your mind set :p

btw my fish get fed the hunter spiders in my house there about as big as your palm and chop them up :p

i know and in the wild there only semi aggressive fish when hungry the natives go swimming in pirahna pools i bet ya its the FILM that gives them a bad name (and james bond film where that guys gets skeletonised in 30 seconds )

a good friend of mine has piranhas and he feeds them live food once a week as a treat.
Kind of similar to feeding fish live bloodworm once a week

In a piranha's natural habitat they do often participate in pack hunting but usually only go for really weak or dying prey. Any sign of aggression and the piranha usually doesnt bother.

yeah mine get spiders /flies/moths/daddy long legs/ wood louse and so do the turtles too they all love it especially the arowana

oh live crickets and small locusts too and live meal worms
